A backpackers on the Tsitsikamma border

Wild Spirit is an essential stop bursting with diversity. Soak up breathtaking views of mountains and lush valleys of indigenous forest from their vibey treehouse deck, log cabin lounge and quiet garden cottages. Organic gardens and interesting architecture lie strung around this beautiful 18 hectare farm which flows into the Tsitsikamma National Park.

Amble into the forest guided by their dogs and discover the waterfall and rock pools, or laze in a hammock with Jerepigo, the horse, grazing nearby.
Hike down to Nature's Valley beach then hop onto the 60's Jeep for sundowners at Bobbejaans Gorge. End the day with drinks and a lovingly prepared wholesome dinner around the fire on the candle-lit bar deck.

This friendly family-run backpacker's passion for sustainability is driving the Wild Spirit team to create a model for eco friendly tourism through creating permaculture gardens, a biogas digester and grey water and waste recycling systems.

• Help yourself herb garden.
• Sing for your supper or dig for your dinner.
• Volunteering opportunities.
• 4th night free.
