The Spot backpackers is a charming little backpackers set just a few meters from the beach on the south Coast of Natal.

Directions to the Spot Backpackers
From N2 Durban: Take Port Shepstone (North) turn-off. Turn left. Straight through 1st traffic light. Follow signs. From Port Shepstone: Take R102 to Durban. Right at 2nd traffic lights. Follow signs.
A South Coast Backpackers on the Beach

This magical spot is set right on the beach. Early risers can walk beautiful beach miles while watching dolphins surfing and whales wallowing. Spend days soaking up the sun, surfing, snorkelling in the rock pools and playing beach games.
Up for adventure? Do their Oribi Gorge trip. Hike, horse ride, dare the highest gorge swing in the world or drop off a cliff for an amazing abseil.
Looking for Mother Nature? Go on their drive through Lake Eland Game Reserve. Sway across the suspension bridge, spot game and horse ride amongst the giraffe.
Bird lovers can enjoy a multitude of feathered friends and a trip to the vulture colony at Oribi Gorge.
As evening falls, join their friendly staff and fellow travellers at the Sand Bar, enjoy a game of pool, table tennis, darts or just relax with a ice-cold beer. When bedtime comes, slip away and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
