This new lodge is the Strand's only backpacker.
Situated two minutes from the beach and a lekker* surf spot, Strand Backpackers is close to restaurants, pubs and a cocktail bar. Non-beach days can be spent mall trawling in Somerset Mall, out on the local golf course with the larneys* or on a wine tour along with other thirsty animals. They offer breakfast and dinner on request, have a self-catering kitchen, an honesty bar, braai facilities in the courtyard, a washing machine and internet.
