A pozzie to make Madiba proud, Mandela Bay is no run-of-the-mill backpackers. Bathrooms are more like ladies boudoirs (think free-standing baths and long mirrors) and dorms have room to swing an 85kg backpack or wild cat.
Centrally located for cricket grounds, soccer stadium and beaches, it’s also perfect for families or small groups.
Check the board in the kitchen for activities offered by their in-house travel centre.
