• Game Parks

Africa is a wild continent and Southern Africa has fought hard to save her wildlife. A multitude of game parks pepper the area ranging from the impossibly exclusive to the downright affordable. A trip to the Kruger National Park is well worth while – although it is by no means the only game park worth visiting. This icon tells you that you're within game park visiting distance.
  • Hiking Drakensberg

With Southern Africa’s abundant natural magnificence, hikers will be in their element. Trails range from short to long, easy to almost impossible, and beautiful to breath-takingly-mind-boggling. This icon points to great hiking areas.
  • Nature in South Africa

There is lots of it. And most of it is protected so there are huge tracts of unspoilt loveliness that will have any nature lover coming back for more. This icon indicates naturally beautiful areas away from any major civilisation.

Ezulwini

A backpackers lodge in Swaziland that is home to an adventurous ancestral spirit and other adventurous types of earthly people.

How to find us
By car: follow the Ezulwini (MR103) road and look for Mantenga Craft and Legends signs.
By taxi or bus: Jump off outside the Gables Pick ‘n Pay. Walk 500m through and out the service entrance behind the shopping centre and then up the tar road.
This Swaziland hostel is filled with adventure.

Situated in the Ezulwini Valley on the slopes of Sheba’s Breast (the mountain, dude) the lodge is home to an ancestral spirit, Leni the Legend. Leni is a “lidloti” and is said to possess unwary travellers with the spirit of adventure. He got his hooks into the owners, who opened Legends to cater for independent and adventurous spirits (ha ha).
They claim that everything a traveller desires is just a walk away. And there sure is a whole load of stuff to do. You can get to all these places on your own two feet - two nature reserves, the Lobamba Royal Village, the Swazi Cultural Village, craft markets, a shopping centre, the National Museum, the National Stadium, hot springs, night clubs and 15 different restaurants. Hey, if you get through this list of things to see and do you probably are a legend!
Swazi Trails rafting, adventure caving, mountain biking and hiking trails depart from across the road.
