Hluhluwe backpackers is on the doorstep of the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi National Park.
From N2: Take Hluhluwe/Sodwana Bay off ramp. Follow Hluhluwe Game Reserve signs for 11kms. Backpackers on left 1,5km from Memorial Gate entrance to Park.
The closest spot to the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, here rural Zululand surrounds you with the Reserve (home to the Big Five) just a stone’s throw away. Make yourself at home in an en suite dorm, in a comfy double or twin or in a caravan. All rooms are serviced daily and breakfast is included.
Not sure what to do? Dave’s 3 day Zululand Bash includes a full day game drive, a full day at St Lucia, snorkelling at Cape Vidal and a 3 hour boat ride on the estuary to spot hippo and crocodiles.
