The Highlands crew can still cook up a storm - and yes, their braais and potjies are still gob-smackingly good. But it's the Adventure Centre based at Highlands that's really going to get you on a high. Experiencing the best of Knysna and surrounds is their specialty. Spend a day kloofing an Outeniqua gorge, paddle your own canoe, hike, take a township tour or kuier with the rastas, aweh! For low-down dirty fun, shooting Ak47s and other guns can be arranged. But if you prefer horsepower to firepower, mount a horse or quad on an outride. Tours of Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Plett and the Crags should bring you back to earth again.
