Barry’s offers a variety of accommodation options (60+ beds) in fully equipped houses.
The land-based whale watching here is unbelievable with about 80 whales seen at any one time in season (July – Nov).
Local shops close at 6pm, the office at 8pm and restaurants keep early hours.
There is spectacular kite boarding on the Breede River estuary.
